Saturday May 25, 2002 we had a cleanup day at WVM #1 up at Quartzville. There were a lot of trees over the road from Winter Storms and a lot of washouts. One of the members brought his tractor with a loader and backhoe to help with the work. We spent most of the day moving downed trees and filling in washouts but had some time for a sit-down chat fest and some hiking. |

Molalla River outing July 19-22, 2002. Fourteen of us were up on the Molalla River Saturday July 20 and had a real good time. Several members found some nice flakes panning. Dale and Don worked Dale's dredge, Ruth set up her sluice box in the river, while others picked moss for panning and others just panned. We had a nice lunch and the kids went swimming so it was a great day for all. |

WVM Treasure Hunt August 17, 2002. Lots of members attended with Kids and grandkids too. We had a lot of fun looking for prize tokens and pennies and some odd ball stuff that was buried. Thanks to Ken and Marge for the use of their field for the hunt. |
